{In Transit} or Realising One’s Aesthetic when the Technology Finally Catches Up

In Transit is a collaboration between the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Research in Music (ICSRiM) and the company, Idée Fixe - Experimental Sound and Movement Theatre as well as the Music, Technology and Innovation (MTI) Research Group and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). The article discusses the context that led to this collaboration, its goals within the areas of interactive music and dance as well as new opportunities in visual rendering, both Idée Fixe and the Music via Motion (MvM) project, the planned work which was performed at MAXIS and future plans.
