L’espace et l’électroacoustique

L’espace: Musique/Philosophie. Paris: L’Harmattan: 373-389.

This article is a report of a round table at the CDMC (Paris, 1996). In the first part, the authors present the roles of space in terms of historical techniques, theories, and studios. The next six parts search to define characteristics of musical space: its image, spatialisation and turning into theater, space in general and the space in electroacoustic music, virtual space and real space/abstract space and concrete space, presence and absence/space and body, composed space.
