The first two parts present a brief history of spatial perception and spatialisation in electroacoustic music. In the third part, the author explains the realisation of two spatialisation systems in their musical works. The computer program “ALBEDO” uses two MIDI controllers to spatialise eight-track tape works. The author has used this system in his multimedia performance O Houenouho. “Les couleurs du vent” is a MIDI glove used to spatialise his acousmatic music. To conclude the author presents an interactive installation in which the movement of listeners is used to spatialise sounds.
