Synthesis and Control of Everyday Sounds: Reconstructing Russolo’s Intonarumori

In this paper, the authors discuss their interest in designing a controller and sound synthesis engine that is able to reproduce various instruments that were designed by Luigi Russolo as part of his Intonarumori. They also introduce the Croaker, the first of these controllers.
