This book focuses mainly on contemporary music notation for acoustic instruments, but includes some references to electronic music too. The author discusses on notation of early electroacoustic music, both from the electronic and the concrète perspective.

Locatelli de Pérgamo also talks very briefly about the pioneering years of electronic music in Argentina. She includes references to works created at the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires during the 60s, and the Convertidor Gráfico Analógico (Analog Graphic Converter) invented by engineer Fernando von Reichenbach during those years too. This device was used to convert graphic scores from a paper roll into control signals suitable for electronic music systems.
